Dr. Ashraf Rashed, MD,MBA,CPHQ, CSSBB Healthcare Accreditation Expert and CEO at Decision Support Consultancy. Dr. Ashraf is a physician, consultant in healthcare management with strong quantitative & analytical skills. He provides advice on healthcare management, hospital operations, quality management JCI accreditation and Business Excellence in MENA region. Dr. Ashraf works with health organizations to coordinate projects, plans for quality initiatives, designs performance improvement projects, and delivers training of data management tools and methods for the whole spectrum of Healthcare Facilities. His expertise includes guiding healthcare facilities ISO for IMS certifications. He served as a consultant for JCI Accreditation and Re-Accreditation projects for many hospitals in GCC according to JCI 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th edition standards; and lead more than 10 actual accreditation & re-accreditation surveys and 15 Gap analyses and JCI mock surveys.

Dr. Ashraf served as corporate Director of Quality Management& Accreditation for Al Noor Group plc in UAE. In this capacity, he led 3 hospitals for awarding the JCI Accreditation and Re-Accreditation.  He led the group to receive Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award for best provider in UAE (Silver winner in 2007 & Gold Winner in 2009).
Dr. Ashraf worked as PI Physician at a 700 bed corporate health system under ARAMCO medical designated facility in KSA; he facilitated the implementation of JCI accreditation as strategic initiative of that healthcare system. He worked as Chief Quality Officer in the National Training Institute (NTI) managed by “Project HOPE”, USA.

Among her employers, she lists reputable hospitals such as St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, Spaulding Rehabilitation Network (part of Harvard Medical School and Partners Healthcare), Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital and Spectrum Health. To date, Ulrike has led two hospitals to being recognized with the Hospital of Choice Award, one even in the Top 10 in the USA. She is the recipient of ACHE Regent’s Award and many others leadership and quality awards.
